A Knit for Naz event will be taking place on Monday 3 June from 6.30 – 8.30 pm at Emmanuel Church. Amnesty International is creating a symbolic knitted chain to raise awareness of the plight of Nazanin Zaghari-Radcliffe, a local West Hampstead mother and keen knitter. On 7 July she will have been held for 1190 days in Iran so each loop of the chain contains 1190 stitches. All are invited to take part to help make the chain so do come along to knit, sew chain loops together or have a cuppa to show your support for Nazanin. There will be a collection point at the back of Emmanuel Church for a few weeks.
